Paul Manring

Paul Manring's career spans 25 years in mid to upper management roles and across the entire supply chain. Industries Paul has thrived in are food, coatings, small assembly, electronics, plastics, CPG, CNC machining and others. He utilizes data and Lean tools to transform processing plants, applies business intelligence tools with Lean and 6-sigma methods to operations, delivering substantial performance improvements. Many of the transformations are propelled by the DMAIC model with business intelligence tools managing and directing the way.

Prior to joining The ProAction Group, Paul has worked with various companies to drive quick transformations, has conducted due diligence studies, and performed interim management roles.  He has reduced labor expenses, wasteful inventory levels, and other wastes tied to the two. Managerially, Paul has created budgets, project plans, business process maps, safety and quality structures and SIOP processes. He has reduced business risk through Quick Response Manufacturing and Fail-Safe Leadership processes.

Paul holds a BA in General Business Pre-Law from Michigan State University and an MBA in accounting from Wayne State University. He is 6-Sigma Greenbelt and 6-Sigma Champion certified, as well as HACCP certified.  Paul possesses advanced competencies in business intelligence software and the DAX language, relational databases, project management tools and diagraming software.

Trained in LEAN, Inventory and Production Management, Leadership, Project Management, Thermal Processing, Red/Green, Dale Carnegie and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM).
