Frank has over 35 years’ experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, and operations management in heavy manufacturing environments with a proven record of achieving results. He has worked with top specialty material manufacturers within the automotive, aerospace, and medical supply chains. His ability to establish and drive focused team performance has led companies to improved safety results and increased profits.

Prior to joining The ProAction Group, Frank was the Vice President of North American Operations for a specialty materials company. Under his guidance and effective use of cost reduction strategies, the company navigated pandemic related challenges and emerged as a key player in the aerospace industry. Frank deployed Lean Manufacturing methodologies to achieve $1M in cost reductions across five manufacturing sites. He played a key role in the shutdown of operations, subsequent site closure, and redeployment of assets of an outdated production facility.

Prior roles include Division Vice President and various operations leadership positions for specialty metals companies, primarily in the automotive and aerospace sectors. Safety improvements were top priority as Frank led teams that prioritized employee safety and utilized a robust root cause and corrective action process to drive a 60% reduction in Total Case Incident Rate and achieve 4 plus years without a lost time accident. A mindset of continuous improvement led to operations consistently achieving year-over-year spending reductions exceeding 2% of revenue by attaining defined operational excellence targets. Process improvements that increase throughput and overall plant capacity were obtained by focusing on constraints and establishing KPIs that measure and promote daily improvements. Success in these areas is attributed to Frank’s ability to create high performing work teams that are focused, held accountable, and empowered to achieve daily improvements that contribute to the overall organization objectives.

Frank holds a BS in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Penn State University and a MS in Operations Management from Penn State/Great Valley. He has been trained as a Site Continuous Improvement Leader and holds various certificates in Lean Manufacturing.
