Ryan Ripley

Ryan has over 15 years in Lean Enterprise manufacturing, global manufacturing, and innovation and continuous improvement with a history of driving results. He has served in multiple capacities in engineering, production, and operations management, driving bottom line improvement and significantly increased sales and profit margins for companies. He has deployed rapid Kaizen events to drive bottom line improvement and has overseen development and implementation of rigorous Lean training curriculum.

Prior to joining ProAction, Ryan led Lean enterprise transformation at numerous manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia. While implementing Lean methodology and robust training at a 200,000 sq ft plant with approximately 150 employees, sales increased from $35MM to $100MM and profit from 9% to 14%+ with only a modest addition of incremental labor. Through training and implementing structured innovation processes, he helped invent revolutionary products in telecommunications, automotive and power utility markets that have won patents and generated approximately $1MM in sales. During his time at a manufacturer of fasteners and plastics solutions for the automotive in Germany, Ryan took an empty building to a fully operational, 3-shift manufacturing facility; designing the manufacturing process and hiring/developing a diverse team from 5 continents. The company became cash positive within 24 months, ramping up to $6MM in annual sales and 8% operating profit.

Ryan has a B.S in Industrial Engineering Technology and Total Quality Management from The University of Dayton.
